Want to create a marketing plan that turn your product into the most envied and viral product in the market place? Try out some of Apple’s strategies.

Beautiful Design
Apple products are sleek, sexy, and desirable. If technology had a contest for pure aesthetics apple would win by a landslide, of course, they already are winning the technology contest so maybe there is a correlation.

Simple Messaging
Apple doesn’t try to advertise the highly technical aspects of their devices. They stick to the simple benefits they provide we have all come to know and love. Here is an example of their iPhone description, “Revolutionary Phone. Widescreen iPod. Breakthrough Internet Device.”

Word Of Mouth
iPods, iPhones, and iPads have definitely become the “in” thing. They are cool. Everyone has one. You can not ask for better word of mouth than extreme popularity. Not to mention their media coverage. They slowly release tidbits of information and let the press glorify, rumorize, and sensationalize anything they can rationalize as news.

Consumer Experience
Apple didn’t slow down after creating a beautiful product. They created awesome packaging too. They also created iTunes to integrate with all their products and the App store that allows anyone to create their own Apple App. For some people Apple products have become a lifestyle.
