Another ski season comes to a close in Vail Colorado. They do it every year, The Pond Skimming Championships…this was my first one (and very entertaining.) Here’s how we do it: 1. Find 100 crazy contestants that are willing to pay money to throw themselves over a kicker placed in front of 100 feet of ice cold water. 2. Put a nice steep runway in front of the kicker. 3. Have contestants dress-up in the most ridiculous attire and costumes they can find or make. 4. Say no dudes in man-thongs knowing good and well there will be anyway. 5. Winners are determined by making it across the entire pond. 5 people out of 100 made it and then had to do it 1 more time to take the crown…out of the 5, 1 made it for a second time. Not sure what he won, but it was probably a case of rockstar and a new speedo or something.
