Talk about finding a problem and fixing it. Many people can relate to the drunk dial/text either as the instigator or the as victim. This is the problem. I recently overheard a conversation by people who actually need and use an application to solve such a problem… and no I wasn’t at Wal-Mart…I was in the Wal-Mart parking lot. A new iPhone app called “The Bad Decision Blocker” allows one to lock their phone on certain days on certain nights purely to prevent such a regrettable event from happening. This may be the beginning of a war against textsfromlastnight.com.

Also, the explosion of social media has created a whole new avenue for drunken communication. Webroot Software has created a program that forces the user through a sobriety test before posting anything to a social network.

Since I know none of my readers have ever sent so much as a single, unfortunate, drunk text (right…) use this as a great case study for finding a niche and totally capitalizing.
